Description
The Motion Pro 12-14mm manufacturer's torque adaptor spanner is designed to be used with a torque spanner to accurately tighten cylinder base nuts on two-stroke engines that cannot be reached with a socket spanner. When you mount the adaptor on a torque wrench, it effectively lengthens the torque wrench.
When you mount the adapter on a torque spanner, it effectively lengthens the torque spanner. Therefore, the torque value stated on the torque spanner will not be the actual torque you apply to the fastener. Before using the torque adapter, you must recalculate the torque specification listed in your engine service manual. To recalculate your torque spanner when using the Motion Pro adapter, use the extension formula included with these instructions.
