Yuasa batteries are manufactured to exceed the expectations of drivers and vehicle manufacturers, the No. 1 manufacturer of motorbike batteries. The positive electrode of Yuasa batteries is made of lead dioxide, while the negative electrode is made of porous lead.
The other way to ship them is dry, i.e. empty. They are shipped with the electrolytes stored in plastic containers to be refilled when they are ready to be activated. Once the seal is removed, they must be installed immediately or they may oxidise.

To start and charge the battery with acid:
simply remove the plugs from the top of the battery, fill the battery with acid, wait two hours (without plugs), wipe off the acid with a paper or rag and put the plugs back on the battery.
