Description

Galfer G1054 brake pads serve as a replacement for the original brake pads, as their deceleration properties are identical.

Galfer has developed specific components for each use and type of motorbike, seeking to offer the best possible performance in all types of driving and for all the needs of use.
The main characteristics of the Semi-Metallic compound are its effective, adjustable and progressive braking, a minimum wear rate and noise without "fade" effect, a very effective pad on dry and wet and very little aggressive for the disc

Good brake pad break-in provides better braking and no crystallisation, it is very important for all compounds to have a good brake pad break-in.

The correct break-in of the brake pads is done by a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycling and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
