The G1396 compound is the result of a constant improvement in the search for perfect braking for all types of terrain and environmental conditions. It can be highlighted a very effective braking, and low pad wear. With all the safety guaranteed by demanding riders in extreme conditions.
The correct break-in of the brake pads is done through a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycling and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
