As the successor to the 428H, the 428HD uses a new technology for reel production. Previously, the reels were wound from strips of sheet metal, creating a seam and therefore a weak point. Using the new technology, the reels are made from round material, thus avoiding a seam.
Compared to the standard 428D chain , the 428HD is reinforced by thicker flanges and, as a result, has a significantly higher tensile strength.
