The Dual-Ring rear sprocket offers the best of both worlds: the outer race where the cogs are located is made of steel and an inner ring of lightweight aluminium.

The outer race is made of specially hardened and nickel-coated steel, while the inner ring is made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminium. This system on offroad sprockets resists up to three times more than an aluminium sprocket and weighs up to 50% less than a standard steel sprocket.
