Description
The manufacturer J.Costa surprises us again by launching the J.Costa Transverse Clutch for Yamaha T-Max 530 from 2017 and T-Max 560.
It has a revolutionary system that thanks to the centrifugal force, the weights move transversely, pressing the springs, and these to the discs. A very similar operation to the famous J.Costa variator.
It is made of CNC machined aluminium treated with a hard anodizing, to increase its durability and obtain better lubrication and cooling.
Outstanding features:
- More aggressive and faster output.
- More responsive and sensitive throttle control.
- Increased engine braking.
- Increased retention when reducing throttle.
- Less extreme use of brakes.
