The red mirror lens is designed for sunny days with little or no cloud cover and a medium to high glare factor. Your view through the red mirror lens will appear pale blue. Ideal for sunny and shaded areas of the trail.

I would use the blue mirror for overcast and high glare days. The blue mirror lens still gives you a good depth of perception, but the mirror deflects all the glare. It is an excellent all-round lens for use in both shaded, muddy and medium light, sunny / cloudy conditions. Your view through the blue mirror lens will appear pale yellow.
