1. The reed petals only travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design to achieve the same airflow.

Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design, there is a greater chance that they will open fully, as well as a better chance of sealing when "closed", giving more horsepower, and a noticeable change to gas response. Being fitted by many Origin brand manufacturers.

Additional information: To fit it on the Yamaha DT 125 R you have to modify the reed box to match the bolt spacing and depending on the year you have to file the crankcase.
