Description

FD152G1050 brake pads Galfer

The G1050 compound of Galfer brake pads, formulated with a semi-metallic base, covers the braking needs of daily use. It offers an excellent price/performance ratio and its performance is optimal in all conditions.
G1050 allows a progressive and modulated braking, it also offers excellent performance at low temperatures with low wear rate and minimum noise. A "battle" brake pad

Good brake pad break-in provides better braking and no crystallisation, it is very important for all compounds to have a good brake pad break-in.

The correct break-in of the brake pads is done by a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycling and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
