Description

Brake pads FD373G1370 Galfer

The Galfer brake pad with G1370 sintered street compound, is for the most demanding people, for a sporty driving in the city.
Designed to satisfy the most demanding customers who, for regular urban use, want a more sporty driving. This compound, with a high friction coefficient.
Similar to compound 1375, but without the ceramic coating, and a low metal level in its compound, obtaining as a result, lighter brakepads and with greater power of heat dissipation, for greater durability.
It is a model focused on sport or sport touring motorbikes.

Good brake pad break-in provides better braking and no crystallisation, it is very important for all compounds to have a good brake pad break-in.

The correct break-in of the brake pads is done by a series of gentle braking by holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycling and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
