VOCA's racing department has developed a new Minimotard that revolutionises the line they have followed up to now. This Minimotard model incorporates fully usable and meticulously selected components to make the Supercup a fast and easy to adjust motorbike.
Thanks to the complex track work of its riders over the last few years, it has been able to gather this important information for the development of the Minimotard.
With around 18hp at the wheel and a 5-speed gearbox it is a powerful and fun engine
Ensures easy adjustment in any situation, as well as offering ideal response for a 4-stroke engine.
An essential element that holds a lot in a crash and minimises flex when riding at the highest level.
The ideal size for mounting wider rims. 160 mm seatpost, inherited from the cross version, has been used until now; this time, we opted to create a Minimotard with specific components for this type of modality. It should be noted that the high quality and lightweight aluminium seatpost we are used to from the YCF brand has been maintained.
Easy to adjust and with many aftermarket options to make it a very competitive suspension , the 730 mm of length of the previous models, such as ENGI or ZL, are maintained, adjustable in compression, extension and the classic Marzocchi type dropout.
This component is increased in length to gain stability and achieve a more balanced rear suspension balance, going from a wheelbase of 118 cm to 121 cm. It comes equipped with a 15 mm axle inherited from its dirt sister, more than enough even to cope with mixed Minimotard circuits with jumps.
The size of this component has been increased to maintain optimum geometry, an essential adjustment to keep the Minimotard competent and fully functional, with just 5 mm extra to maintain agility and cornering stability.
This is one of the most significant changes in this new model, replacing the classic YCF model with Mobster-type rims in the most commonly used Minimotard sizes.
The previous sizes of 2.15 and 2.50 with the current tyres cause the tread to close too much, giving the tyre a profile with too much camber. This can often be beneficial on certain occasions, but with the current tyres, the 3.00 and 2.5 sizes are much more effective and give more grip without sacrificing directional changes.
Caution: Tyres not included.
