I would use the blue mirror for overcast and glare days. The blue mirror lens still gives you a good depth of perception, but the mirror deflects all the glare. It is an excellent all-round lens for use in both shaded, muddy and medium light, sunny / cloudy conditions. Your view through the blue mirror lens will appear pale yellow.
The light smoked motocross lenses are a neutral tint and are ideal for riders they are designed for medium light conditions and medium glare. Light smoke lenses are like wearing a pair of light grey tinted sunglasses.
