Description
Stage6 black contrast springs are now available in different hardnesses. The hardness is indicated on the surface of each spring, making it easier to distinguish between them.
The hardness of the clutch spring determines whether the mechanism opens the clutch to engage the clutch bell at higher or lower engine revolutions.
A harder spring will make the clutch "engage" at higher revolutions and consequently the bike will start faster from a standstill and you will notice a better acceleration, i.e. a soft spring is as if you start in "second gear", with a hard spring it is as if you start in "first gear",
Be careful in your choice because if it is too hard, you need more power and more RPM to start from a standstill.
