Malossi Testa rossa 70cccylinder for Piaggio LC engine.

Starting from its MHR 7 transfers range, Malossi offers us a high range cylinder for scooters equipped with water cooled Piaggio engine.
As all the high range of Malossi has been developed in the competition, offering the maximum power and hardness to be at the top of the races.

WARNING!
To mount this kit it is necessary to make modifications inside the engine.
This cylinder uses an exhaust outlet of 4 screws, it is recommended to mount it with the Malossi exhaust . In case of mounting another exhaust it will be necessary a custom adaptation.

Cylinder

  • Special aluminium alloy material with a high percentage of silicon and titanium to prevent deformation at "high temperatures".
  • 7 loadtransfer units and a partitioned exhaust port for more power.
  • Heat treatment: gives the material high strength and rigidity.

Piston

  • Bore 47,6mm
  • Stroke 39,3mm
  • Connecting rod 85mm
  • Material: special aluminium alloy with a high percentage of silicon so that it cannot be deformed by "high temperatures" or temperature variations.
  • Segment in spheroidal iron, polished and ground for high mechanical strength, with hard chrome plating on the contact surface, for better compression.

Head:

  • Removable which guarantees the elimination of the considerable amount of heat that develops in an engine at high specific power, intended for competition.
  • Made of aluminium alloy, with high silicon content, fixed directly to the cylinder barrel, with polished cooling liquid surface, guaranteeing a large exchange surface. Among other advantages, the removable cylinder head is completed by a "cylinder head" that closes the upper part of the cylinder, guaranteeing that the cooling liquid content remains watertight
