The hardness of the clutch spring determines whether the mechanism opens the clutch to engage the clutch bell at higher or lower engine revolutions.
A harder spring will make the clutch "engage" at higher revolutions and consequently the bike will start faster from a standstill and you will notice a better acceleration, i.e. a soft spring is as if you start in "second gear", a hard spring is as if you start in "first gear",
Attention! in your choice because if it is too hard, you need more power and more RPM to start from a standstill.
Malossi springs are made of steel with high carbon silicon alloy, heat-treated to better resist high temperatures, and do not lose power at high temperatures or with use.
