These reed valves were originally developed for Yamaha YZ85 Motocross bikes, but can also be retrofitted with DT 50LC engines provided:

The cylinder intake is ground a little
A spacer is placed under the reed block
Comes with a Venturi insert for 28mm - 34mm carburettors.

Unique design of the VForce reed valve system features twice the surface area of the reed tip over a conventional reed valve design. This has two main benefits:

1) The reed petals only travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design to obtain the same airflow.

2) Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design, there is a greater chance of them opening fully, as well as a better chance of sealing when "closed", making more horsepower, and a noticeable change to gas response. Being fitted by many Origin brand manufacturers.

This Moto Tassinari V-Force intake reed system features a patented, state of the art membrane valve design.
The design accelerates the air flow mixture to bring more horsepower to the engine with a noticeable improvement to throttle response, and a significant increase in performance on the bike.
This design has more advantages than the stock design, as the reeds offer twice the surface area, so they travel half the distance and get the same air and fuel flow.
