The new series of XRP (XTREME RACING PARTS) variators differs from the previous ones by having heat sinks inside the variator in the form of a circle with projections, between the mass area and the bushing area. The mass cavities are perforated so that the pressure-depression effect makes them act more quickly and smoothly both at the entry of a higher gear and at the exit to a lower gear without jumps, i.e. to use the air as a dynamic fluid to help the masses to emerge or collect themselves more quickly without increasing fuel consumption.
