The new series of XRP (XTREME RACING PARTS) variators, differs from the previous ones by having heat sinks inside the variator in the form of a circle with protrusions, between the mass area and the bushing area.

The mass cavities are holed so that the pressure-depression effect makes the masses act more quickly and smoothly both on entry to a higher gear and on exit to a lower gear without noticeable jumps
