To start and charge the battery with acid:
Just remove the plugs from the battery tubes (top part), fill it with acid, wait two hours (without putting the plugs) then clean the acid that has come out with a paper or rag and put the plugs back on.
And depending on the battery it is ready to use.
Connect the red positive and black negative and run the bike, the same gear will feed the battery. Some people prefer to charge it before use to ensure that the battery is at 100% of its charge.
