How do I send my cylinder for repair?
At Motoscoot, we want to make the process of sending your cylinder for repair as simple and safe as possible. To do this, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Complete the contact form (required)
Before sending your cylinder, make sure you are registered with Motoscoot and fill out our contact form, selecting the subject: "Cylinder Repair".
In the body of the message you must include the following information:
- Marca de la moto
- Modelo
- Año de fabricación
- Diámetro del cilindro
- ¿Tienes el pistón nuevo o prefieres que lo consigamos nosotros?
- ¿Necesitas el kit de juntas del cilindro?
In addition, it is mandatory to attach clear photographs of the cylinder so that our team can assess its condition beforehand and expedite the process.
Step 2: Quote and order confirmation
Once we receive your form, our team will review the information and send you a detailed repair quote.
Once the quote has been accepted and payment completed, we will provide you with an order code that you should use as a reference to proceed with the shipment of the cylinder.
Step 3: Shipping Instructions
- El cilindro debe enviarse con los gastos de envío pagados.
- Debe estar totalmente desmontado (sin válvula de escape ni espárragos*).
- Motoscoot no se responsabiliza de los daños producidos durante el transporte, así que asegúrate que esté bien protegido.
- Añade el código de presupuesto escrito en el exterior de la caja.

*If components such as valves or studs are shipped pre-assembled, Motoscoot is not responsible for their loss or breakage. A disassembly fee will also apply. Find pricing information here.
Piston
If you already have the new piston, send it along with the cylinder.
If you don't have it, please indicate this on the form and we will check availability with our suppliers.
Repair time
The approximate repair time is 6 to 7 weeks, depending on the workshop's workload and the availability of parts.
