How do I send my cylinder for repair?
At Motoscoot, we want the process of sending your cylinder for repair to be as simple and secure as possible. To do this, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Complete the contact form (required)
Before sending your cylinder, make sure you are registered with Motoscoot and fill out our contact form, selecting the subject: "Cylinder Repair".
In the body of the message, you must include the following information:
- Motorcycle brand
- Model
- Year of manufacture
- Cylinder diameter
- Do you have the new piston or would you prefer us to get it for you?
- Do you need the cylinder gasket kit?
In addition, it is mandatory to attach clear photographs of the cylinder so that our team can pre-evaluate its condition and speed up the process.
Step 2: Budget and order confirmation
Once we receive your form, our team will review the information and send you a detailed repair quote.
Once the quote has been accepted and payment completed, we will provide you with an order code that you must use as a reference to proceed with shipping the cylinder.
Step 3: Shipping instructions
- The cylinder must be sent with shipping costs paid.
- It must be completely disassembled (without an exhaust valve or studs*).
- Motoscoot is not responsible for damages occurring during transport, so make sure it is well protected.
- Add the quote code written on the outside of the box.
