Returns at Motoscoot
At Motoscoot, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Below you will find all the information about our returns process, deadlines, conditions, and refunds.
General return conditions
In accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, Customers who qualify as consumers have an extended period of up to 30 calendar days from receipt of the order to make a return.
Return exclusions
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Products that have been unsealed, used, or show signs of handling.
- Products ordered specifically according to the customer's instructions (for example, spare parts or accessories, made-to-order items).
- Electrical items: Returns will only be accepted if the item is in perfect condition, in its original packaging, and unused (an ignition mistake, e.g. Yamaha, Ducati, etc., type of fitting, different year, etc.). If Motoscoot has doubts, it will not be processed as a return, but as a warranty claim. Before the process, we will contact the customer.
- Outlet items: Outlet items and refurbished items sold through other channels, other than directly on the Motoscoot.net website, will be exempt from warranty and from any subsequent claim.
Return procedure
To process a return, the Customer must do so exclusively through the returns form.
Product shipping conditions
The product must be sent under the following conditions:
- In the same original box in which it was delivered or, if that is not possible, in packaging that guarantees its protection during transport.
- In perfect condition, unused and unhandled.
- The shipment must be made according to the explanation provided in the returns form.
The transportation costs arising from the return are borne by the Customer, who may freely choose whether to use our shipping service or send it by their own means.
Refund
Once the product has been received and its proper condition has been verified, Motoscoot will proceed to issue a refund of the amount paid within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the Customer communicated their intention to return it. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase. Motoscoot will not issue any refund until it has received the product and confirmed that it is in perfect condition, unused, and with its original packaging.
