The battery comes unactivated. It is not supplied with acid.

Yuasa batteries are manufactured to exceed the expectations of riders and vehicle manufacturers, the No. 1 manufacturer of motorcycle batteries. The positive electrode of Yuasa brand batteries is made of lead dioxide, while the negative electrode is made of porous lead.
The other way to ship them is dry, that is, empty. They are sent together with the electrolytes stored in plastic containers to fill it when it is ready for activation. Once the seal has been removed, it must be installed immediately or it may oxidize.

For initial setup, we recommend purchasing Allpro brand acid  Simply remove the caps from the battery tubes (top part), fill it with the acid, wait two hours (without putting the caps on), then clean any acid that has come out with paper or a cloth and put the caps back on.
Depending on the battery, it is then ready to use.
You must connect the red positive and black negative terminals and run the motorcycle; the motion itself will charge the battery. Some people prefer to charge it before use to make sure the battery is at 100% charge.
