Gas tank cap Piaggio scooter 50/125/250/300 TNT

Gas tank cap for Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera, Aprilia and Derbi scooters from 50 to 500 cc.

The fuel tank cap may present closing problems due to thread wear, O-ring loss, or deterioration of the opening tab. The most common symptoms are fuel leaks, gasoline odors and difficulty closing the tank properly after refueling.

If this problem is ignored, vibrations may cause the cap to loosen and lead to gasoline leaks, in addition to allowing dirt or water to enter the tank, which affects the fuel filter and pump.

This Piaggio tank cap is for direct fit, with the same thread and geometry as the original. By replacing the cap with this part, the tank's airtight seal is restored in a quick operation, with no need for tools or additional adjustments.
