This Dellorto PHVA 17.5 ID carburettor with electric starter is the recommended component for replacing the worn original carburettor or upgrading 50cc engines and low-to-mid-range tuned setups. By increasing the duct diameter to 17.5 millimetres, more efficient gas filling is achieved in the crankcase, providing stronger acceleration and a faster, cleaner throttle response.

Its cylindrical slide ensures constant regulation of the air and fuel flow, preventing carburation hesitation and providing stable performance throughout the entire rev range. The body is made of pressure-cast Zamak, a metal alloy that withstands vibrations and thermal differences without suffering deformation that could affect airflow.

To facilitate tuning, the idle system incorporates an easily accessible jet and air adjustment screw, while mixture calibration in the high-speed circuit is carried out mechanically by means of a needle and a tapered pin.
