This drive belt, reinforced type, from the Polini brand replaces the original component on mid-displacement scooters with a Piaggio engine. By incorporating kevlar fibers into its composition, this part improves resistance to thermal and mechanical fatigue, reducing slipping on the pulleys during urban and interurban use.

Wear on the belt causes a loss of power and a reduction in top speed. Therefore, periodic replacement ensures a smooth and constant rotational transmission in the variator, making it possible to restore the engine's dynamic performance during acceleration and recovery.
