The Stage6 Torque Control MK2 clutch is designed for engines that require more precise transmission performance than the original setup. In scooter builds, a worn or poorly adjustable clutch can cause uneven starts, slipping, lack of response when opening the throttle, or an engagement speed that is not suitable for the installed cylinder and exhaust.

This 112 mm clutch uses three shoes with a large contact surface and allows spring tension to be adjusted by means of screws. With the Stage6 R/T 112 mm clutch bell, adjustment can be made through the holes in the bell, making tuning easier without completely disassembling the assembly.

The Torque Control system also allows the use of additional weights to modify the engagement characteristics. With more weight and a more outward position, the clutch delivers more aggressive engagement; with a softer setup, take-off is more progressive and controllable. This makes it possible to adapt the transmission for sporty urban use, acceleration, or track riding.

On MBK/Yamaha 100 cc engines, Chinese 2-stroke scooters, and Morini AC/LC engines, the clutch is fitted as a 112 mm transmission component. On 50 cc scooters with a Minarelli Horizontal or Minarelli Vertical engine, it can be used as an oversized upgrade provided it is installed together with a 112 mm clutch bell.
