The intake manifold Doppler OPEN allows Dellorto PHBG or PHDG carburetors to be fitted on Peugeot 103 engines equipped with Malossi crankcases, using an elastic mounting system that improves integration between the reed valve and the Carburettor.

Its design is intended to achieve a compact and clean installation, while keeping practically the same space occupied as a conventional rigid intake. The short Ø21 mm sleeve reduces the length of the intake duct, promoting a more direct connection between the Carburettor and the reed valve.

The base made of CNC-machined aluminum provides a precise fit on the outlet of the Malossi reed valve, ensuring correct alignment of the intake-Carburettor assembly. This integration helps improve the mixture flow toward the engine and makes it easier to install larger-diameter carburetors used in Peugeot 103 performance builds.
