A faulty oxygen sensor causes a series of issues such as unstable idling, excessive fuel consumption, loss of power when opening the throttle, and the engine warning light illuminated on the dashboard. If it is not replaced, the mixture becomes excessively rich and ultimately takes its toll on the catalytic converter and the spark plugs.
