Without hesitation compared to the stock variator, this Malossi variator reduces the gap between twisting the throttle and the response at the rear wheel, reaches higher revs sooner, and maintains the power range more consistently at high rpm.

The fixed pulley half is machined from silicon-aluminum alloy using CNC machines and features a diamond finish, with a calculated track profile so that the rollers operate at the correct angle during each phase of the shift. The pin is made of self-lubricating sintered steel, the bushing is made of alloy steel with ground hard chrome, and the HTRoll rollers are calibrated in high-strength CPT.
