The Variator Polini Hi-Speed Evolution is a transmission component with a racing focus, developed to improve the response of the CVT system.

Its function is to manage the transmission development together with the belt, rollers and clutch, directly influencing the way the engine delivers power to the rear wheel.

A worn Variator is very noticeable: the belt does not rise as it should, the roller tracks no longer have material and the roller does not slide properly, etc. From the user's point of view, you notice it when there are noises from the belt slipping, much slower take-offs even after changing rollers and Clutch springs.

Compared to the original, the internal tracks have been modified so that the roller can open the pulley face a little more; that means the belt rises a bit higher, achieving a little more top speed. In addition, being made of a lighter material, the bike has much more punch from a standstill throughout the power curve.

Without a doubt, it is a component whose improvement is very noticeable once installed.
