Derbi is a Spanish motorbike brand founded in 1922 by Simeón Rabasa Singla. To this day, this brand remains a major reference in the world of mopeds. Derbi was bought by the Italian group Piaggio in 2001 and continues to manufacture motorbikes and spare parts at the factory located on the outskirts of Barcelona. Big names such as Joan Olivé, Pol Espargaró, and Ángel Nieto have ridden their bikes to the world championships. Among Derbi's most popular models are the Derbi Senda R, with a 49cc engine, the Derbi Motocross range, Derbi Variant, Derbi 2002, among other legendary models of the Spanish brand.
