Ignition with internal rotor MHR TEAM II DRR DRX 90 from the manufacturer Malossi
Manages several maps simultaneously by switching with a simple click. Allows you to modify the selected map by moving the offset (+ or – 2°).
Developed with the most interference-resistant control units through the development of a uP STM8 microprocessor – 8 bit with superior processing capacity @ 20 MIPS: guaranteeing greater spark efficiency than the previous version!
The MHR Team II range is equipped with a variable advance control unit:
- The first (MAPS) to determine the map in advance
- The second (OFFSET) allows you to change the desired map by + or – 2°
- The third (LIM), particularly indicated for 4-stroke engines, allows you to vary the operation of the rpm limiter (from 11,500 to 14,300 rpm + limiter excluded)
It also features 8 preset maps, which are divided into:
- 1 for 4T engines with variable advance
- 6 for 2T engines with variable advance
- 1 with fixed advance
Other fundamental components such as the high voltage Ignition coil have also been revised, capable of supplying a maximum discharge voltage >40 KV for normal engine rotation speeds of >3000 RPM and an extraordinary rise time @10bar> 1750 V/uS.
One of the most important new features is the new rotor-stator group, whose static component has been completely redesigned both mechanically and electronically!
In the assembly instructions you will find all the graphs with advances adjusted for different engines.

The effects of this latest evolution result in an increase in the voltage supplied to the spark plug, at the same rotation speed, which is significant and far from negligible compared to the previous model.
High voltage Ignition coil:
- Maximum discharge voltage > 40 KV for engine rotation speeds >3000 Rpm
- Maximum Ignition coil voltage peak with open gap > 50KV
- Rise time @10bar > 1750V/uS
Rotor-stator group:
- Weight reduction of the stator part by approximately 30%, -100g in total.
- Monolithic magnetic circuit with high permeability.
