Adjustment key for Malossi MHR TEAM II ignitions

This simple tool allows you to achieve a precise timing adjustment, eliminating any inaccuracies in the reading—a problem that even the most experienced tuners may encounter.

To use the key, simply insert the pins, which are located on the underside, into the flywheel mounting holes present on the rotor of the new internal rotor ignitions. These holes are free because the flywheel has not yet been mounted during the timing adjustment phase.

Once the rotor and the key are joined, the flywheel can be moved by turning the tool until the adjustment hole is aligned with the right mounting hole of the stator. To align, insert a pin or drill bit with a diameter of 5 mm.

With the rotor and stator perfectly aligned, to adjust the timing with absolute safety, all that remains is to move the stator, rotating it using the adjustment guides, aligning the piston position measured with the dial gauge.
