For starting up and charging the battery with acid:
You just have to remove the caps from the battery tubes (top part), fill it with acid, wait two hours (without putting the caps on), then clean the acid that has come out with a paper or cloth and put the caps back on.

You have to connect the positive red and negative black and start the motorcycle, the same movement will charge the battery. Some people prefer to charge it before use to ensure the battery is 100% charged.
