The EBC front Brake disc from the X/XC series uses a special stainless steel alloy that offers a superior coefficient of friction. This composition, improved by 10% compared to conventional discs, increases the braking force on the Honda CB 650 and CBR 650, allowing for more effective action.

The EBC X and XC series Brake discs incorporate a 6-rivet system with a lightweight inner ring. This design reduces the total weight of the component by between 5% and 10%, contributing to lower unsprung mass and improved dynamic handling of the 650cc motorcycle. These discs are compatible for installation on both the left and right sides.

The patented EBC SD system, with its square rivets, allows free expansion of the outer and inner rings of the floating disc under the heat generated during braking. This prevents disc warping, a common problem during hard braking, and contributes to a longer service life and consistent braking action on the Honda CBR 650 by eliminating the cause of vibration-related defects.
