Galfer FD107G1375 brake pads
The Galfer pad with G1375 sintered sport compound is for the most demanding people, for sporty riding on the road or track.
Designed to satisfy the most demanding customers who want a more sporty ride. This compound, with a high coefficient of friction.
Similar to the 1375 compound, but without the ceramic coating, and with a low metal content in its composition.As a result, lighter brake pads and greater heat dissipation for increased durability.
This is a model aimed at sport or racing motorcycles.
A good bedding-in of the brake pads provides better braking, and prevents glazing. It is extremely important for all compounds to properly bed in the brake pads.
The correct bedding-in of the brake pads: is done through a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action, 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
