Honda CB 1100 10-12 Galfer brake pads - sintered

The Galfer pad with G1371 sintered street compound is for the most demanding people, for a sporty ride in the city.
Designed to satisfy the most demanding customers who, for regular urban use, want a sportier ride. This compound has a high coefficient of friction.
Similar to the 1375 compound, but without the ceramic coating, and with a low metal content in its composition.As a result, these are lighter brake pads with greater heat dissipation capacity, for greater durability.
This model is aimed at sport or sport touring motorcycles.

The correct break-in of the brake pads: is done by performing a series of gentle brakings, holding the brake lever for 10-15 seconds and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, and repeating this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
