The Galfer scooter brake pads serve as replacements for the originals, as their deceleration properties are identical.

The main characteristics of the Semi Metallic compound are its effective, adjustable, and progressive braking, a minimal wear and noise rate without "fade" effect, a very effective pad in both dry and wet conditions, and very non-aggressive to the disc.

The correct break-in of the brake pads: is carried out through a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then stop braking to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action, 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system and subsequently better braking.
