Yamaha YZ 125/250/450 21-23 EBC R brake pads - sintered

Brake pads from the manufacturer EBC developed in Sintered compound for Off-Road motorcycle

EBC brings us a high technology brake pad compound that offers braking power at your fingertips.

Fully tested by TÜV and already approved by the safety tests for brakes under the ECE R90 regulation, these pads have been rated by the German magazine Motorrad as top quality organic pads and have now proven to be suitable even as a replacement for sintered pads.

All EBC organic pads are built on backing plates manufactured with the patented Nucap NRS hook retention system, ensuring zero possibility of pad detachment after prolonged use or corrosion.

The correct bedding-in of the brake pads: is done through a series of gentle brakings holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec. and then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, and repeat this action 5 or 6 times.
This achieves a correct thermal and heating cycle, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
