These reeds replace the reeds in the standard reed box.
Depending on the model, the kits include two different thicknesses (blue: 0.30 and green: 0.35).
The carbon reeds allow you to modify the characteristics of the engine.
With thin reeds the engine pulls more. With thick reeds the engine works better at a higher number of revolutions.
Another advantage: in case of breakage, steel reeds can destroy the cylinder, whereas with carbon reeds it is much more difficult for this to happen.
