These reeds replace the reeds in the standard reed box.They can be mounted to the original reed box
Depending on the model, the kits include two different thicknesses (blue: 0.30 and green: 0.35).
The carbon reeds allow you to modify the characteristics of the engine.
With thin reeds, the engine pulls more. With thick reeds, the engine works better at a higher number of revolutions.
Another advantage: in case of breakage, steel reeds can end up destroying the cylinder, whereas with carbon reeds it is much more difficult for this to happen.
