Reeds made of Voca biaxial carbon for original reed box. Biaxial carbon of the highest quality, 0.35mm thick, suitable for Yamaha RD 350 type reed boxes.

This biaxial material guarantees a very high level of resistance and speed of opening/closing.

Good carbon maintains the durability and lightness of steel reeds. It increases the resistance of fiberglass reeds. And thanks to the rigidity offered by carbon, it provides unbeatable stability at high revolutions, which prevents reed vibration, allowing it to reach higher revolutions. Carbon reeds also offer stable performance at low revolutions.

At the point of maximum wear, the fibres at the tips break off, which can be expelled by the engine without further problem. When this happens with metal reeds, the metal fragments can seriously damage the engine.
