CDI unit unrestricted with remote control Stage6 Rieju / Beta / Sherco Euro 4-5

Selectable-limit Stage6 CDI unit with remote control for 50cc motorcycles with Minarelli AM6 Euro 4 and Euro 5 engines, compatible with Rieju, Beta, Sherco, Fantic, Peugeot, and Vent models.

Unlike a conventional unrestricted CDI unit, this control unit allows you to change the engine's maximum RPM remotely. It includes 2 remote controls with which you can select between four different modes, from strong RPM limiting to a mode with virtually no limitation.

It is a particularly interesting solution for a tuned motorcycle with a Sport / Racing exhaust, higher-performance cylinder, or other modifications, as it allows you to take advantage of a higher RPM range when the setup requires it and select a lower RPM limit when you want to restrict engine operation.

The Stage6 CDI unit incorporates a small indicator showing the selected mode and a synchronization button to pair the control unit with the remote controls.

4 operating modes

• Mode A: limited to 4,000 rpm.
• Mode B: limited to 7,000 rpm.
• Mode C: limited to 8,000 rpm.
• Mode D: up to 16,000 rpm, a mode with no practical limitation for this type of engine.

Mode A can be used as an anti-theft function, since with the engine limited to 4,000 rpm the motorcycle becomes virtually unusable for normal riding.

What will you gain?

• Select the RPM limit from the remote control.
• Remove the limitation of the original CDI unit when the setup needs to rev higher.
• Make better use of a Sport / Racing exhaust.
• Combine it with a sport or higher-performance cylinder.
• Have several operating modes without having to change the control unit.
• Use the 4,000 rpm mode as an anti-theft function.

Plug & Play installation

Installation is simple: you only need to disconnect the original CDI unit and connect the Stage6 in its place. It features a 24-pin connector and is designed to directly replace the original control unit on compatible models.

Important: after removing or modifying the RPM limit, it is advisable to check the carburetion and engine tuning. A different exhaust or cylinder may require changes to the main jet and other adjustments so that the engine runs correctly and does not run lean.

Note for Beta RR: installation of this CDI unit may deactivate the kill switch located on the handlebar. In that case, to switch off the engine it will be necessary to turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
