Ceramic brake pads for 4-piston caliper from manufacturer Polini

From the Italian manufacturer Polini, we present the Ceramic brake pads for Polini brake calipers with 4 pistons.

They consist of a special sintered “Ceramic” compound for very high temperatures. Free from any surface vitrification, they guarantee maximum performance during use. With 30% more braking surface than usual, proper bedding-in of the brake pads provides better braking and prevents crystallization.

The correct bedding-in of the brake pads: it is done by a series of gentle brakings, holding the brake lever for 10-15 sec, then releasing the brake to cool the disc and pads, and repeating this action 5 or 6 times.

This achieves a correct thermal cycle and heating, cooling of the system, and subsequently better braking.
