The belt is responsible for transmitting force between the variator and the clutch assembly. During operation it works continuously under tension, temperature, and friction, so over the miles it eventually loses width and flexibility.

A worn belt can cause the transmission to operate outside its correct dimensions, resulting in poorer take-off, loss of responsiveness, RPM fluctuations, or less progressive variator operation. If it also shows cracks, glazed areas, or uneven wear, the risk of breakage increases.

This Bando belt makes it possible to renew one of the main transmission components and restore more uniform operation of the CVT system, while maintaining the dimensions required to work correctly between the pulleys.

When replacing the belt, we also recommend checking the condition of the pulleys, rollers, guides, and variator working surfaces. A marked pulley or a worn component can alter transmission operation and accelerate wear on the new belt.
