When you increase displacement and the engine starts operating at higher RPM and under greater load, the original crankshaft can become one of the weak points of the build.

Unlike a standard crankshaft, this Italkit features a machined connecting rod, a more robust solution designed to better withstand the stresses generated by a tuned engine. In practice, this translates into greater strength at high RPM and a larger safety margin when you install higher-performance cylinders, exhausts, or carburetors.

It is not a part that adds power on its own, but it does allow you to build a more reliable bottom end and make better use of the rest of the setup without leaving the stock crankshaft as the most heavily stressed component.
