The outer track is made of specially hardened steel and nickel-plated, while the inner ring is made of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium. This system in offroad rear sprockets lasts up to three times longer than an aluminium rear sprocket and weighs up to 50% less than a standard steel rear sprocket.
