WARRANTY

Before installing the Polini kit, it is essential to read the warranty certificate.

ASSEMBLY

• Record the timing regulation data before disassembling the engine.
• Check the condition of bearings, crankshaft, and pin.
• Clean cylinder, piston, and pin with gasoline, dry, and oil them.
• Install the piston, securing the pin clips and correctly positioning the rings (letter "N" facing the cylinder head).
• Select the appropriate base gasket according to the manufacturer and install the cylinder.
• Tighten the cylinder head diagonally with a torque of 1.2 Kgm.
• Check and correct the cylinder head surface if necessary.
• Check and adjust the valves.

BREAK-IN

• For 500 km, avoid exceeding ¾ throttle and overstraining.
• Do not demand maximum power when cold.

ADJUSTMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Check the thickness of the original gasket and choose the most suitable one.
• Adjust the valve clearance (0.10 mm intake / 0.15 mm exhaust).
• Use the ECM 171.0022 unit following the instructions.
• If the variator is original, install the Polini 7g rollers.
