Description
Stage6 StreetRace 86cc / 88cc Iron Cylinder for Minarelli AM6 engines.
The performance of the cylinder is quite impressive in every respect: take-off and acceleration are excellent and, due to the increase in maximum travel speed, the overall performance has greatly improved. The cast iron cylinder is extremely reliable and durable, so it is definitely suitable for intensive use.
The 86cc/88cc cylinder can be used with two types of crankshaft:
- Crankshaft C.44mm / 85mm without spacer = 86cc.
- Crankshaft C.45mm / 90mm with spacer = 88cc.
The kit includes:
- 88 cc grey cast iron cylinder, d=50 mm, 5 transfers and single exhaust (28 mm).
- 2-segment piston, 50 mm.
- High compression one-piece cylinder head, aluminium.
- Gaskets (head and base) and cylinder spacer.
The manufacturer recommends a two-stroke oil mixture at 3% (1:33) to ensure a long engine life.
The cylinder looks discreet and similar to the original. Stage6 has deliberately decided not to show the brand name on the cylinder, instead stamping a logo with "49ccm"
Attention: if you want to use the cylinder with a 90mm connecting rod crankshaft, you will have to use longer studs (M7x120 mm). And depending on the year of manufacture, you may need to open the crankcase a little to make room for the longer connecting rod.
